Very pleasant staff. Lovely public rooms and garden. Convenient location. Old building, lovingly restored 2002, but not touched since, so it's a bit threadbare and shabby chic. Our small room overlooked lovely courtyard and hotel's Jacuzzi. Premises not up to us/uk modern standard, but definitely worth considering for short trip to see Pisa or for local business overnight. Too small to use as base for lengthy day trips. Very good restaurant next door.
Small, over furnished room. Very worn towels. Inexpensive, temporary repairs everywhere. Out dated air conditioning, tv. Regardless, excellent value.

Location was excellent! Pisa is very large and it was great to have a central base to explore from. The room and breakfast were excellent also.
On booking we thought transfer to the airport could be arranged free of charge through this hotel. However the hotel can either call a taxi or organise for a private car to take you to the airport-neither of which is covered in the cost of the hotel. In the end it wasn't a big deal as a taxi cost approx 15 euro

Very friendly staff, ideal location to visit the city's numerous cultural sites. Also, I was advised to have dinner at nearby Osteria dei Cavalieri, a glorious place with plenty of well-deserved trophies on their front window - Michelin, Routard and more. Got one of the best wine experience ever - a Chianti Classico, and at a price of... 30 Euro! No wonder the place was crowded with locals, even on a cold Wednesday evening! Just make sure you book a bit in advance or you'll just have yourself to blame...
Anything wrong with the hotel? Well, the airco/heating system could have been a bit quieter. And that's it.

Fresh and clean. Very welcoming staff without being pushy. Great location 2 minutes walk from the Tower and cathedral. Offered take away breakfast as I was leaving early.
Only one regret - stayed only one night.
